Skylights illuminate the entire interior of the NC Museum of Art.

The recent North Carolina Museum of Art is a complete departure from the original museum building. As a one story building, the entire interior is illuminated top down with natural light, filtered through specially designed skylights and coffers. From a distance, it is an unimpressive structure in the landscape, but as a place to view art, it is hard to beat.
